REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) applies to all transactions and services provided by FerroFinder (“we”, “us”, “our”) through our marketplace platform.
By using our platform and making a transaction, you agree to the terms of this Policy.
1. Nature of Our Platform
We operate a digital marketplace platform connecting buyers and sellers of iron raw materials, providing:
- Marketplace listing and discovery services
- Transaction facilitation between buyers and sellers
- Platform access and digital tools
- Customer support and dispute resolution assistance
- Market data and analytics (where applicable)
Our platform facilitates B2B transactions between independent parties. We are a technology platform and not a direct seller or buyer of materials.
2. Transaction Fees & Platform Charges
2.1 Platform Service Fees
Once a transaction has been initiated or completed through our platform:
- Platform service fees, commission charges, and listing fees are non-refundable.
- This applies even if:
- The buyer or seller cancels the transaction;
- Quality disputes arise between parties;
- Delivery is delayed or fails due to third-party logistics;
- Market prices change after order placement; or
- Either party changes their mind.
2.2 Payment Gateway & Processing Fees
- All payment gateway charges, processing fees, bank charges, and transaction fees are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances.
3. Material Transactions Between Buyers & Sellers
3.1 Our Role
FerroFinder is an intermediary platform. The actual contract for sale and purchase of iron raw materials is between the buyer and seller directly.
- We do not control material quality, delivery timelines, pricing negotiations, or fulfillment.
- Disputes regarding material specifications, quality, quantity, or delivery must be resolved between the buyer and seller as per their mutual agreement.
3.2 Refunds for Material Purchases
Refunds for the actual material purchase amount depend on the agreement between buyer and seller and are subject to:
- The seller’s individual refund policy;
- Inspection and quality verification processes;
- Delivery and acceptance terms agreed between parties.
FerroFinder does not guarantee refunds for material transactions but will assist in facilitating communication and dispute resolution where possible.
4. Platform Subscription & Membership Fees
4.1 Before Service Activation
If you have paid for a subscription or membership plan and we have not yet activated your account or provided access to premium features:
- You may request a cancellation and full refund within 48 hours of payment.
- Refunds will be processed after deducting applicable payment gateway charges.
4.2 After Service Activation
Once your subscription or membership has been activated and you have gained access to platform features:
- No refunds will be provided for unused time or features.
- This applies even if you:
- Change your mind;
- Do not use the service;
- Find an alternative platform; or
- Are dissatisfied with the service for subjective reasons.
4.3 Partial Refunds
At our sole discretion, we may consider partial refunds in exceptional cases, such as:
- Technical issues on our platform preventing service access for an extended period;
- Service features significantly different from what was promised at the time of purchase.
The decision and quantum of any partial refund shall rest solely with FerroFinder and will be final.
5. Cancellation by Users
5.1 Subscription Cancellation
- Users may cancel their subscription at any time through their account settings.
- Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
- No refund will be provided for the remaining period of the current subscription.
5.2 Transaction Cancellation
- Once a transaction is confirmed between buyer and seller, cancellation terms depend on mutual agreement between the parties.
- Platform fees for cancelled transactions are non-refundable.
6. Cancellation by FerroFinder
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts and cancel transactions in cases of:
- Fraudulent activity or misrepresentation;
- Violation of our Terms of Service;
- Abusive behavior toward other users or our support team;
- Non-compliance with legal or regulatory requirements.
In such cases:
- No refunds of any fees will be provided.
- We may retain all amounts paid as liquidated damages.
7. Quality & Service Issues
7.1 Platform Technical Issues
If you experience technical difficulties with our platform:
- Contact us immediately at info@ferrofinder.com with specific details.
- We will work to resolve the issue promptly.
- Our first remedy will always be correction/resolution, not refund.
7.2 Material Quality Disputes
For disputes regarding material quality, specifications, or delivery:
- These must be raised directly with the seller within the agreed inspection period.
- FerroFinder will facilitate communication and provide dispute resolution support.
- We cannot guarantee resolution or refunds for quality disputes as these depend on seller policies and mutual agreements.
8. No Refund Situations
No refunds will be provided in the following situations:
- Change of mind after subscription activation or transaction confirmation;
- Market price fluctuations after order placement;
- Delays caused by third-party logistics, government regulations, or force majeure events;
- Buyer-seller disputes that cannot be resolved (users may pursue legal remedies independently);
- Free trial usage, promotional credits, or complimentary services;
- Technical issues on the user’s end (internet connectivity, device compatibility, etc.).
9. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
If you have any billing or service-related concerns:
- You agree to first contact us at info@ferrofinder.com to allow us a fair opportunity to resolve the issue.
- Provide your transaction ID, invoice number, date of payment, and detailed reason for the dispute.
Unjustified or fraudulent chargebacks may lead to:
- Immediate suspension or termination of your account;
- Legal action for recovery of fees, costs, and damages incurred;
- Permanent ban from using FerroFinder services.
10. Refund Request Process
To request a refund in situations where this Policy allows it:

- Account username/email
- Transaction ID or invoice number
- Date and mode of payment
- Detailed reason for seeking refund
- Supporting documents (if any)
Processing Timeline:
- We will review your request within 5–7 working days.
- If approved, refunds will be initiated within 7–14 working days from approval.
- Refunds will be processed to your original mode of payment (or another mutually agreed method).
- Actual credit to your account may take additional time depending on your bank/payment gateway.
11. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters, pandemics, government actions;
- Technical failures, internet outages, cyber-attacks;
- Third-party service provider failures;
- Changes in laws or regulations affecting our operations.
No refunds will be provided for service interruptions due to force majeure events.
12. Changes to this Policy
We reserve the right to modify or update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice.
- Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
- Continued use of our platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
- The updated policy will apply to all new transactions and, where legally permissible, to ongoing subscriptions.
13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This Policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, India.
